We chat about your vision, your goals, how I can create artful photographs with you and for you. I want to take the time to get to know you and connect! We talk details and logistics and make sure we are both on the same page about creating together. 2
We get together for our session and we spend some time just connecting before you jump in front of the camera. I check in with you throughout to make sure you’re comfortable, have breaks when you need them and feel that we are creating what you envisioned. 3
I send out the film to be processed and ensure that the resulting photos meet my standard of quality and also meet your vision and expectations before sending you your final gallery!

all the time
Film is raw, gritty and grainy, soft, and perfectly imperfect. photographing with film allows me to tap into the art of photography in more of its true form. I am better able to sink into an intentional creative flow with you or your creations without the immediate feedback of a digital camera. If it doesn't feel right or look right in my viewfinder, I don't capture it. Each shutter click, like a paint stroke. Film is how I fell in love with photography and keeps me connected to why i fell in love with photography to begin with. why film?
